The Designs: Anywhere in the world my 250+ different wild animal designs, developed since 1975, are immediately recognizable. Using a combination of carving and painting skills, I try to honor the wild nature of animals. |

Wood and Tools: The wood used is Basswood, also called Linden (Tilia americana), a hardwood tree native to the U.S. After roughing out the shapes, most of the work is done quietly using hand tools. |
|||||
Colors and Finish Colored inks, applied with a brush or airbrush to the sanded animals, and the urethane finish, are all non toxic and water based. |

Use: No practical use unless you consider happiness practical! Though sturdy, they are not designed as children's toys. They make excellent gifts for anyone who needs a smile. Also nice to honor totem animals, or to commemorate a wild animal sighting. |

I hope you enjoy my animals! Made in Humboldt County, California |
